In a recent video shared by Shoaib Akhtar, he can be seen bantering with Harbhajan Singh and Shahid Afridi about the fastest bowler in the world’s inability to bowl fast.
During his playing career, Shoaib Akhtar was known for his intense bowling style, unleashing thunderous deliveries at speeds of 150 kmph. However, in a recent Legends League Cricket Masters tournament held in Doha, his playing time was significantly reduced, allowing a different side of his personality to shine through – a more affable and fun-loving persona.
Shoaib Akhtar only played one match in the entire LLC tournament, representing the India Maharajas team. In this match, he bowled just one over, which resulted in conceding 12 runs without taking a wicket. Unfortunately, he also sustained an injury while fielding during that game.
Despite the limited game time and his injury, Shoaib Akhtar appeared to be content with the situation. In a video uploaded on his YouTube channel, he humorously referenced his exclusion from the team and joked about being out of shape.
