NBA Ja Morant scores 17 points in return from suspension for flashing gun on live stream

Earlier this month, Ja Morant received a suspension from the NBA after a social media live stream from a strip club revealed him briefly displaying a firearm.

However, Morant made a successful comeback, scoring 17 points and providing five assists for the Memphis Grizzlies. Jaren Jackson Jr. also showcased a superb performance, achieving a season-high 37 points along with 10 rebounds. These strong efforts propelled the Grizzlies to a 130-125 victory over the Houston Rockets.

Contributing to Memphis’ success, Desmond Bane delivered an impressive performance, scoring 20 points, while Tyus Jones added 14 points and seven assists.

On the Rockets’ side, Jalen Green led the team with 32 points, followed closely by Kenyon Martin Jr. with 31 points. Kevin Porter achieved his first triple-double of the season and second of his career, securing 14 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists. Alperen Sengun also made a notable contribution, scoring 25 points for Houston.
